Common Name: Bowhall Red Maple
An upright form of a red maple with a narrow pyramidal-columnar habit, good cold hardiness and great yellow to red fall color. 'Bowhall' is similar to 'Armstrong' This narrow maple was selected by the Scanlon nursery of Ohio in 1946. The same nursery that discovered the chanticleer pear. Tolerant of most soils.
