Common Name: Kamagata Japanese Maple
A magnificent medium-sized deciduous tree that grows 8' tall at maturity and spread 6' wide in broadly columnar growth habit. It features palmate foliage streaked with red in spring, turning vibrant pale green in summer and eventually change into bright yellow with hues of red and orange in autumn. Easily grown in full sunĀ but tolerates partial shade in rich,moist, well-drained soil. An excellent choice for accent plant.
