Common Name: Blood Red Cranesbill
One of the best cranesbill is the Geranium sanguineum 'New Hampshire Purple'. This moderately-growing herb grows in loam soil with partial shade, partial sun to full sun environment. This requires low maintenance and features a beautiful clump-forming with showy, five petaled- purple flowers and a dark green leaves that usually blooms on late spring to mid-summer and can grow up to 12-18 inches tall and 15 inches wide. It brings an extremely fine and delicate texture to the garden. This specie is also known for deer resistant.
