Common Name: Globe Japanese Red Pine
A dwarf low growing, multi-stemmed evergreen shrub that features thin, soft bright blue-green needles with profuse oblong cones. Orange barks are rough and gradually reveal its elegant form when mature. It normally grows 4 ft tall in 10 years and eventually reach 15 ft tall in 50 years. Best grown in moderate moisture, well-drained soil in full sun exposure. Pinus densiflora globosa can be used for accent, foundation and bonsai.
