Common Name: Nippon Maple
Acer nippecum features a simple alternate light green foliage that become golden yellow to brown in fall. It grows up to 60' tall at maturity. An upright medium sized maple that bears an inconspicuous five petaled flowers and has smooth grey bark. Thrives in full sun to full shade and prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
