Magnolia soulangiana is renowned for its beautiful burgundy or purple flowers along with green foliage, changing to yellow in fall. It followed a cone-like fruits that turn red in late summer. A showy perennial. Grows at fast rate with 18 inches high and spread 24 inches wide in upright habit of growth. It performs best in partial sun to full sun exposure in any moist, rich, fertile soil with average drainage. An ideal for specimen.
