Common Name: Variegated Black Spruce
Aureovariegata's' soft, graceful habit helps set it apart from the species, as does its charming golden glow. When established in full sun, the blue-green needles of Picea 'Aureovariegata' have a frosting of creamy yellow on the topside of the needles, resulting in a unique layered look that enhances the horizontal branch structure of this broad upright conifer. The golden coloring varies throughout the seasons, but remains an eye-catchingly pleasant contrast to the predominately blue foliage
