Vitis labrusca 'Himrod'
Himrod Grape
Himrod Grape produces loose clusters of oval, green to golden seedless berries. The crisp fruit is well suited to fresh eating and can also be dried into raisins.
This vigorous vine ripens early relative to many grapes, making it useful in cooler areas with shorter summers. Its growth can provide leafy cover as well as a fruit crop.
Train the vine on a substantial support with room to reach and harvest the hanging clusters.
