Pennisetum orientale ‘Karley Rose’ is a warm-season ornamental grass valued for its soft, arching habit and showy rose-pink flower plumes. Narrow gray-green leaves emerge in spring, form a graceful, flowing clump through summer, and turn golden-tan in fall, followed by abundant, airy, rose-colored bottlebrush plumes in mid to late summer that age to soft tan and persist into fall. Its earlier bloom time and vibrant color make it a standout among fountain grasses.
