Heuchera ‘Obsidian’ is a dramatic foliage perennial valued for its intensely dark, glossy leaves. It forms a compact, mounded clump of rounded foliage that emerges deep burgundy-black in spring and matures to near-black through the growing season, holding its rich color exceptionally well even in summer heat. In late spring to early summer, slender stems carry airy sprays of small creamy-white flowers above the foliage, adding a light accent while the striking dark leaves remain the primary ornamental feature.
