Dark Star Hosta

Hosta ‘Dark Star’ — a medium perennial hosta with a compact, mounded form, valued for its deep dark green foliage that creates strong contrast in shaded plantings. The thick, heart-shaped leaves are slightly glossy with pronounced veining and good substance, forming a dense clump that holds color well through the season. Lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer on upright scapes and attract hummingbirds.
