Hydrangea paniculata 'Kyushu'
Panicle Hydrangea
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Kyushu’ is a deciduous shrub known for its graceful, airy panicles of fragrant white flowers held on strong upright stems. Unlike denser paniculata cultivars, this selection has a lighter, more open flower structure with fertile and sterile florets mixed throughout the panicles, giving it a softer appearance. It blooms on new wood from mid to late summer, and the flowers gradually age to soft pink and tan tones in fall.
