Hydrangea paniculata Compacta
Compacta Hydrangea
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Compacta’ is a smaller deciduous shrub selected for its compact habit and abundant creamy white flower panicles that gradually age to soft pink and tan later in the season. This panicle hydrangea blooms on new wood from mid to late summer, producing dense flower clusters on sturdy stems while maintaining a tighter overall form than larger paniculata cultivars. Its reduced size makes it especially useful in smaller landscapes.

Mature Size: Width: 4–5 ft · Height: 4–6 ft
USDA Zones: 4a–8b

Features & Landscape Uses:
Excellent for foundation plantings, borders, mixed shrub beds, and smaller garden spaces where a compact panicle hydrangea is desired. The flower heads also work well for fresh and dried arrangements.
