Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Pee Wee’ is a compact deciduous shrub valued for its smaller upright white flower panicles, deeply lobed oak-like foliage, and strong fall color. This oakleaf hydrangea blooms in early to mid-summer, with flowers opening white and gradually aging to pinkish tan. The foliage turns rich burgundy, red, and purple in fall, while mature stems develop attractive exfoliating bark.
