Hypericum ‘Hidcote’ is a compact deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub valued for its bright golden-yellow cup-shaped flowers with prominent tufted stamens that bloom over a long period from summer into early fall. This St. John’s wort selection forms a dense rounded mound of blue-green foliage, and the vivid flowers are often followed by reddish to brown seed capsules that add additional seasonal interest.
