Golden Gem Holly

Ilex crenata ‘Golden Gem’ is a compact evergreen shrub valued for its bright golden-yellow new growth that matures to yellow-green, creating year-round color contrast. This Japanese holly forms a low dense mound of very small leaves, with the brightest foliage color developing in full sun. Its fine texture and colorful foliage make it especially useful in small formal plantings.
