Juncus effusus ‘Frenzy’ — commonly called corkscrew rush — is an ornamental grass-like perennial grown for its twisting, spiraled green stems that create striking texture from spring through winter. Unlike upright rushes, its tightly curled stems form a lively, architectural clump that adds movement and contrast in containers, water gardens, and moist borders. Small brown flower clusters may appear near stem tips in summer but are secondary to the unusual foliage effect.
