Lagerstroemia × ‘Miami’ (Crape Myrtle)

A deciduous small to medium tree with a broad, spreading canopy, Lagerstroemia × ‘Miami’ is valued for its large clusters of coral-pink flowers that bloom in mid to late summer. The showy panicles provide long-lasting color, while the smooth, exfoliating bark reveals attractive tones of cinnamon, tan, and gray for year-round interest. Glossy green foliage transitions to shades of orange and red in fall. Part of the U.S. National Arboretum hybrid series, this cultivar offers excellent resistance to powdery mildew and strong performance in heat and humidity.
