A vigorous, deciduous small to medium tree with a broad, spreading canopy, Lagerstroemia × ‘Muskogee’ is known for its soft lavender flower clusters that bloom in mid to late summer. The large, airy panicles provide long-lasting color, while the smooth, exfoliating bark reveals attractive tones of cinnamon, tan, and gray for year-round interest. Glossy green foliage turns shades of orange and red in fall. Part of the U.S. National Arboretum hybrid series, this cultivar offers excellent resistance to powdery mildew and strong performance in heat and humidity.
