A deciduous small tree with a broad, rounded habit, Lagerstroemia ‘Zuni’ is known for its soft lavender to light purple flower clusters that bloom in mid to late summer. The airy panicles provide long-lasting color, while the smooth, exfoliating bark reveals attractive tones of tan, gray, and cinnamon. Glossy green foliage transitions to shades of orange and red in fall. Part of the U.S. National Arboretum series, this cultivar offers excellent resistance to powdery mildew and reliable performance in heat and humidity.
