Monarda ‘Jacob Cline’ is a vigorous, clump-forming herbaceous perennial bee balm with aromatic green foliage and large, brilliant scarlet-red tubular flowers held in shaggy rounded heads above dark bracts. Blooming from early to midsummer into late summer, it brings strong color and height to perennial borders, pollinator gardens, rain gardens, cottage gardens, and naturalized plantings. It is often described as one of the best red bee balms and is known for better mildew resistance than many older selections, though good air circulation is still important.

Care:
Plant in rich, evenly moist soil with good air circulation. Avoid letting the plant dry out during hot weather. Deadhead after flowering for a cleaner appearance and possible rebloom. Divide every few years in spring if clumps become crowded or lose vigor.
