A slow growing evergreen conifer that typically grows in tidy spreading mound growth habit. Short, spring needles are light green and turn dark green in summer. Best grown in full sun exposure in rich, moist, well-drained soil.



Low, Spreading Growth Habit: As the name suggests, 'Green Carpet' has a prostrate or spreading growth habit, making it ideal as a ground cover or for planting on slopes and rocky terrain.



Dense Foliage: This cultivar typically forms a dense carpet of foliage with short, stiff, blue-green needles. The needles may have a silvery underside, adding to the visual appeal.



Slow Growth Rate: Like many other Korean Fir cultivars, 'Green Carpet' has a slow growth rate, 24 inches tall at maturity and spread 6 ft wide which helps maintain its compact form and allows for easier maintenance.
