Acer platanoides ‘Jade Glen’ is a superior Norway maple selected for its improved branch structure, strong central leader, and consistent landscape performance. Summer foliage is glossy deep green, holding well in heat, then turning clear yellow to yellow-orange in fall.

This cultivar develops a uniform oval to rounded crown with excellent branch angles and wind resistance—an improvement over seedling Norway maples. Growth is moderate, producing a dense, orderly shade tree well suited to demanding sites.

‘Jade Glen’ thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts to a wide range of soils, including clay and compacted urban soils, provided drainage is adequate. It tolerates heat, wind, pollution, and road salt and is hardy in USDA Zones 4–7.
