Magnolia grandiflora ‘Green Giant’ (Green Giant Southern Magnolia) is a broadleaf evergreen tree with a dense, upright-pyramidal habit, featuring large glossy green leaves with greener undersides than many Southern magnolia cultivars. New foliage often emerges golden-green, creating a noticeable contrast with older leaves. Creamy ivory, fragrant flowers appear in summer, followed by cone-like fruit. This cultivar is valued for its bold foliage, formal appearance, and strong evergreen presence.
