This mound-forming specie bears unusual-showy, tall, upright, narrow spikes, tigthly packed pink flowers, clothe the spikes that transform them into soft spires, on upright stems with bronze green leaves that blooms during early summer, mid summer, late summer and early fall. This plant grows at about 3-5 ft tall and 20-30 inches wide and its known for deer resistant.
