Cornus kousa ‘Galilean’ — commonly called Galilean Kousa Dogwood — is a deciduous tree valued for its showy spring blooms, attractive form, and multi-season interest. In late spring to early summer, creamy white, star-like bracts appear above the foliage, followed by ornamental, raspberry-like red fruits in late summer. The foliage remains clean green through summer, then turns attractive shades of red to purple in fall, while the bark develops a mottled, exfoliating pattern with age.
