Fountain Grass

Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Piglet’ is a compact, warm-season ornamental grass valued for its small size and attractive pink-tinged flower plumes. Narrow green leaves emerge in spring, form a tidy, mounded clump through summer, and turn golden-tan in fall, followed by soft, pinkish bottlebrush plumes in mid to late summer that mature to tan and persist into fall. Its smaller stature makes it ideal for borders and mass plantings.
