Heuchera villosa ‘Brownies’ is a vigorous foliage perennial valued for its large bronze to chocolate-brown leaves with rich burgundy undersides. It forms a broad, mounded clump of rounded foliage that emerges bronzy-green in spring and matures to deep bronze and purple tones through summer and fall. The leaf backs display strong reddish-purple coloration that adds depth and contrast when the foliage moves. In late summer to early fall, slender stems carry airy sprays of small creamy-white flowers above the foliage, extending seasonal interest into the fall garden.
