Hosta 'Alligator Shoes' — a medium-sized hosta prized for its thick, heavily corrugated blue-green leaves that develop a deeply quilted texture resembling alligator skin. The broad foliage forms a dense mound with exceptional substance, giving the plant strong texture and very good slug resistance. Pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer, adding soft seasonal color while the foliage remains the primary ornamental feature.
