Hosta ‘Independence’ — a medium perennial hosta with a bold, mounded form, prized for its dark green leaves edged with wide creamy white margins. The thick, heart-shaped foliage has strong substance and a slightly corrugated surface, creating crisp contrast and excellent durability in shade gardens. Pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer and attract hummingbirds.
