Juniper shimpaku chinese is a diminutive spreading upright evergreen shrub with scale-like, soft-textured dark green foliage. Brilliant foliage is on short branches with clusters of beautiful leaves. Winter temperature intensifies this beautiful dwarf chinese juniper but does best in full sun exposure in moist, well-drained soil. It tolerates some shade and can be used extensively for Bonsai.
