Lady lavender is a sweetly scented shrubby perennial with shiny white-gray foliage that thrives in full sun heat. It grows up to 24 inches tall and spread by 24 inches. Lady lavender cultivates in sandy or loam soil and gives gardeners an abundant , aromatic purple blue flowers in early summer. It is very attractive to butterflies and other nectar loving insects. Lady lavender is excellent use as low hedges, knot and edging and its aromatic flowers have been used in dried sachets, scented soaps, perfumes and potpourries for centuries .
