Pinus Cembra Stricta
Columnar Swiss Stone Pine
Stricta Swiss Stone Pine (Pinus cembra ‘Stricta’) is an upright evergreen with a relatively narrow build. Soft blue-green needles fill the branches densely, producing a clean vertical outline with a finely textured surface.
This long-established selection works well as a single structural accent. Its height can balance low or spreading plants, while the cool foliage color remains useful throughout the year.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
