Pinus Flexilis Kinzie Rose
Kinzie Rose Limber Pine
Kinzie Rose Limber Pine (Pinus flexilis ‘Kinzie Rose’) is a dwarf selection with a low, rounded shape. Short blue-green needles give the small crown a close texture and a cooler color than many ordinary green pines.
Its squat proportions are useful at the front of a conifer bed or among rocks. The plant came from a witch’s-broom mutation, and its compact framework is the main feature through every season.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
