Pinus Flexilis Antero
Antero Limber Pine
Antero Limber Pine (Pinus flexilis ‘Antero’) forms a miniature, flattened cushion of gray-green needles. The needles grow in bundles of five, and the closely packed branches give the little plant a dense, settled appearance.
Its very low outline makes it useful among stones or in a collection of small conifers. Position it where nearby plants will not overwhelm its scale, and keep the spreading framework visible.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
