Glauca Nana Japanese White Pine
A miniature upright evergreen conifer that features short, twisted bluish-green to gray needles with white underneath. Grows at slow rate, reaching 6 inches a year and eventually reach 3 ft tall over 10 years. Young barks are brown black and start to peel off into flaky plates as it mature. Oval cones are reddish-brown and emerge solitary or in small bundles. Thrives in full sun exposure in moderate moist, well-drained soil. Pinus parviflora glauca nana is an excellent selection for specimen, container and bonsai.
