Pinus parviflora gyko sho hime is a broad, upright evergreen conifer that flaunts its short, twisted silvery blue needles, giving a bicolored appearance. New growth light green foliage looks magnificent with juvenile cones. Barks are coarse and exfoliating. Grows at moderate rate, reaching 7 ft tall at maturity and spread 4 ft wide. Best grown in full sun exposure in moderate moist, well-drained soil. It tolerates moderate sunlight. An excellent choice for accent, specimen, container and bonsai plant.
