Malus ‘Weepcanzam’ Weeping Candied Apple® is a deciduous flowering crabapple tree with a graceful weeping habit, reddish-pink buds that open to true pink flowers, dark green glossy foliage with reddish new growth, and small cherry-red fruit that persists into fall and winter. Its fountain-like branching makes it one of the stronger small weeping crabapples for specimen use.

Features & Landscape Uses: Excellent as a specimen tree, patio accent, or focal point in smaller landscapes where the pendulous branching can be appreciated. Care: Plant in full sun with good air circulation and well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then during dry spells as needed. Prune mainly to maintain structure and remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. This cultivar is generally noted for strong disease resistance, though fire blight resistance is weaker than its resistance to scab, rust, and mildew.
