Pinus Paviflora Miyajima
Miyajima Japanese White Pine
Miyajima Japanese White Pine (Pinus parviflora ‘Miyajima’) forms a dense dwarf globe with bright blue-green needles. The foliage is closely compressed along the shoots, giving the small crown a compact, textured surface.
Its rounded proportions suit close viewing in a conifer collection or beside stones. Keep taller plants far enough away that the little globe remains distinct throughout the year.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
