Pinus Strobus Alba
Alba Eastern White Pine
Alba Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus ‘Alba’) highlights spring growth with needles that emerge whitish green. As the season progresses, the foliage becomes green, changing the tree’s appearance without losing its evergreen framework.
The needles are shorter than those of typical Eastern white pine. This is a tree-form selection, suited to a roomy position where its seasonal foliage can be appreciated.
Provide sun or partial shade and fertile, moist soil with good drainage.
