Pinus Strobus 'Brevifolia'
Brevifolia Eastern White Pine
Brevifolia Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus ‘Brevifolia’) has short silvery-blue needles arranged on comparatively stout branches. That combination gives it a firmer, more unusual texture than the loose, feathery look often associated with white pine.
The dwarf framework grows upward with an irregular outline. Use it where its branching can be appreciated as an individual feature, rather than expecting a perfectly even cone or globe.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
