Pinus Strobus 'Vercurve'
Vercurve Eastern White Pine
Vercurve Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus ‘Vercurve’) carries short, soft blue-green needles with pronounced twists. The curled foliage breaks up the surface of the plant, giving this compact selection a lively texture.
Young plants are broadly rounded, later developing toward a broad pyramid. Allow space for that change in shape, and place it where the twisted needles can be examined at close range.
Choose a sunny position with soil that drains freely. Water during establishment and leave enough room for the branches to develop without crowding.
