It is a native pine from northern China. It grows moderately on a clay, loamy or sandy soil with full sunlight. This evergreen conifer measures 40 ft tall and 20 ft wide with very unique shape on the upper part like a flat-topped crown when it matures. It has a very dinstinct characteristics to other trees.
