White funnel-shaped flowers are gorgeous with vibrant red stamens that create an incredible appearance in the garden. Very fragrant and attracts bees and hummingbirds. Leaves are green and simple. Stems are hairy and flaky. It normally grows 6 ft tall at maturity and spread 6 ft wide. It does well in shaded area but tolerates moderate sunlight in rich, humusy, acidic soil that drains well. Rhododendron eastmanii can be used for mixed border, mass planting and foundations.
