Rhododendron Firefly

Firefly Azalea

A spectacular diminutive evergreen shrub that features gorgeous trusses of moderately-sized, slightly ruffled, funnel-shaped orange-red flowers in early spring. Very profusion and attractive. Dark green leaves are glossy that add exquisiteness to this variety. It normally grows 6 ft tall at maturity by 6 ft wide and has an upright, spreading form. Full sun exposure is needed to cultivate well but tolerates some shade in rich, humusy, well-drained soil. Rhododendron firefly is a perfect selection for mass planting, mixed borders and foundation.
