Rhododendron Fortunei

Fortune's Rhododenron,

Fantastic and sweet-scented clusters of funnel-shaped pale lavender or pale pink to white blossoms emerge in mid spring with dark green foliage. Yellow to white stamens create an adorable appearance in the crowd. Reach 30 ft tall at maturity by 8 ft wide and form a sturdy, upright small tree. Easily grown in organic rich, humusy, acidic soil that drains well in full sun exposure. Tolerates some shade. Rhododendron fortunei can be used for mass planting, foundations, specimen and mixed borders.
