Malus ‘Schmidtcutleaf’ (GOLDEN RAINDROPS®) is a deciduous flowering crabapple tree with finely cut, deeply lobed green foliage, white spring flowers opening from pink buds, and abundant tiny golden-yellow fruit that brightens the tree in fall. Its vase-shaped habit and lacy leaf texture give it a lighter, more refined look than most crabapples.

Features & Landscape Uses: Excellent as a specimen tree, lawn tree, or accent where its fine-textured foliage can be appreciated up close. It is also widely noted for excellent resistance to apple scab, cedar-apple rust, and powdery mildew, though fire blight resistance is considered poor.
