Rhododendron Hyperythrum

Hyperythrum Rhododendron

A notable broadleaf evergreen shrub that shows off large, white flowers with blotch of pink in spring. Amazing brown stamens distinguish well with the color of the flowers. Lustrous, emerald green leaves are delicate all year round. It typically grows 8 ft tall at maturity and spread 9 ft wide and form a compact, rounded growth habit. Thrives in partial shade in rich, humusy, acidic soil that drains well. Rhododendron hyperythrum is suitable for mass planting, mixed border and foundation.
