Spirea Candlelight

Candlelight Japanese Spirea

Candlelight Japanese Spirea brings a low patch of soft yellow to a planting. Its small leaves hold their light color from spring into late summer, providing a bright background for the deeper rosy-pink flower clusters.

The compact, leafy shrub stays useful after bloom: autumn brings red foliage before the branches become bare for winter. Its modest scale suits the front of a mixed border or a roomy patio container.

Plant in sun or light shade, in soil that retains some moisture but drains freely. This adaptable shrub fits readily among perennials and other flowering shrubs.
