Syringa Boomerang Purple

Reblooming Lilac

Bloomerang Purple lilac (Syringa ‘Penda’) brings fragrant lavender-purple flowers to a compact, rounded shrub. It blooms in spring, pauses while new shoots develop, and can flower again from midsummer into fall.

The moderate size suits foundation beds and mixed borders where a large traditional lilac would be awkward. Fresh green foliage supports the flowering display, and this selection is bred for improved foliage disease resistance.

Choose full sun and freely draining soil. Maintain moisture while new growth develops. Prune only when needed, immediately after the spring display; pruning is not required for repeat bloom.
